Florea Parc - 1 bedroom apartment

A calm, brand-new one-bedroom apartment in a gated residence on the quiet eastern side of Antibes. Two private terraces look towards the hills; below them, a pool, a pétanque court and landscaped gardens. Inside: air conditioning, fibre broadband, a proper desk, a full kitchen, and a private space in the underground garage. The beach is a fifteen-minute walk, the old town a half-hour stroll or a few minutes by car. Room to gather, to be on your own, and to do very little at all.

Floréa Parc stands in Les Bréguières, on the quiet eastern edge of Antibes — a residential
quarter that goes about its own business, which is much of the appeal.
The apartment is 52 m² on the first floor, reached by lift. It was completed in 2026 and
furnished with restraint — white walls, pale tiled floors, and a palette of oak, rattan and
stoneware. The only strong colour in the place is the art.
It suits couples looking for somewhere unhurried, families of four, solo travellers who would
rather have an apartment than a hotel room, and anyone working from the coast for a while.
There is fibre-optic broadband, and a writing desk and chair in the bedroom, so you can take
a call behind a closed door while the rest of the apartment carries on.

Sophia Antipolis,Europe's first technology park and still its largest, is around 10 km inland: near enough that this makes a quieter alternative to a business hotel, though allow extra time at commuter hours. Two reversible split-unit air conditioners, one in the bedroom and one in the open- plan living space, heat as capably as they cool, so the apartment is as comfortable in
February as in August.

The garage space means you park under the building rather than circling for a space on the
street, which in high season is worth rather more than it sounds. Access to the residence is
gated (Vigik key), with a video entry system at the door, so the grounds stay quiet and
private.

Antibes sits on the coastal railway, which runs from Cannes through Nice to Monaco and the Italian border. Gare d'Antibes, the town's main station, is 3.3 km away; Gare de Biot, nearer still at 1.8 km, is on the same line. A car is useful here, but not essential for day trips.

The Marché Provençal, the large covered market on Cours Masséna in the old town, trades from 07:30h to 13:00h every day except Monday. From 1 June to 31 August it opens daily and runs until 13:45h.

Spaces
Living Area
Bright, and quietly comfortable. Large sliding doors open onto the main terrace, so on warm days the two spaces become one. A grey sofa — which converts to a 140 × 200 cm double bed — sits beneath a large abstract canvas in teal and rose, with a blue armchair opposite and an oval oak coffee table between them, cane-shelved, on a patterned rug. Woven rattan pendants hang overhead. A 50-inch smart TV and a Bluetooth soundbar with subwoofer handle music through the afternoon, or a film, properly, in the evening.

Kitchen / Dining Area
The kitchen is open to the dining area but keeps its own character: handleless units in soft greige against a marble-veined splashback, and an oak table with rush-seated chairs for four. It is genuinely equipped — electric hob, oven, built-in microwave, dishwasher, integrated fridge-freezer, and all the cookware, stoneware and glassware needed for a real meal rather than a holiday improvisation. Coffee is taken seriously here — a Nespresso machine, a French press for those who prefer it, and a hand frother for the milk. Place Jean Aude, the square at the centre of La Fontonne, is 650 m away on foot: an artisan boulangerie, a pharmacy, a bank, cafés, and Maison Maillard — a butcher who is also charcutier, traiteur, rotisseur and caviste, which settles a good many evenings. A small mixed market of brocante, household goods and a few food stalls takes over the square on Wednesday mornings, 07:30h to 13:00h.

Bedroom
Calm and deliberately plain. The bed — king-size, 160 × 200 cm — stands against a slatted oak headboard that runs the width of the wall, with floating shelves built into it and a small rattan lamp on either side, so one person can read while the other sleeps. White bedding, two framed prints above, a woven pendant overhead. An oak writing desk and a moulded shell chair sit by the window, and a fitted wardrobe makes it easy to unpack properly rather than live out of a suitcase. The washing machine is concealed here, entirely out of sight. A door opens onto the second, smaller terrace — the one for the first coffee of the day.

Bathroom
Soft beige tiling and a generous walk-in shower behind clear glass. An oak vanity with a white basin, a frameless mirror the full width of it, and a freestanding magnifying mirror alongside — the sort of thing you only notice when it is missing. Towels on a heated ladder rail. The separate WC next door means four people can get ready for dinner without negotiation.

Outside Space
The larger terrace, off the living room, is where everyone ends up: a long table with four deep wicker armchairs, and small lanterns clipped along the railing that come on at dusk. The smaller one, off the bedroom, is quieter still — a teak table and two chairs, and nothing much to do but read, or let the morning arrive slowly.

The outlook is towards the hills and mountains inland rather than the sea: greener, calmer, and noticeably cooler once the sun drops. On a clear evening the ridgeline turns blue behind the rooftops, and the lanterns do the rest.

Guest Access
The whole apartment is yours, along with your own space in the secure underground garage and full use of the residence's gardens, swimming pool and pétanque court. There are sun loungers at the pool and picnic tables beside the pétanque piste, and the gardens are lit after dark — uplit trees, low lights along the paths. The pétanque boules are in the apartment, as is a pack of Uno.

The pool is open 15 May – 15 October, 08:00h – 21:00h. Outside those dates it is closed, so please do plan around it if a pool matters to your stay.

A few notes on shared living, which keep the residence the pleasant place it is:

At the pool, please follow the rules displayed at the entrance — appropriate footwear, no food or drink in the pool area, children supervised at all times, no smoking permitted at the pool, no personal parasols, and no walking beyond the pool area in swimwear.
Drying: please use the drying rack provided for swimwear and laundry, and not the terrace railings — the residence does not permit it, and they are in full view of the gardens and of the apartments opposite.
