About this house rental
Come relax on beautiful Lake Tillery in Norwood. Very clean and comfy home, with private dock and cove, stunning views and sunsets. Take a swim, float, or take the boat out (not included, pontoon lift available). Enjoy the waterfront sunroom year around, sit on the porch with coffee, relax by the fire pit for evening drinks, or lounge on the dock and watch TV under the fan. Quiet community, go for a walk or bike ride, and comfy beds for a good night's sleep. Enjoy restaurants close by, River Wild, or the Lantern for sushi. The BoatHouse on Berryhill Drive is great for ice cream, lunch & drinks. Morrow Mountain is nearby for hiking, or play a round of golf at Piney Point. Food Lion and Dollar General are just minutes away. Fully furnished home, including linens and kitchen. Private boat access, pontoon boat lift in dock. There are two Blink security cameras, one on front parking area of home, and the other on the back porch. Contactless entry thru keypad. No parties/gatherings. No smoking inside or outisde on property. No Pets. Home is for number of guests on reservation only. Jet ski is docked, and owner may utilize during guests stay. Guests privacy will be maintained.

Great lake house, super clean, family friendly. Can't wait to return. Would be the perfect place to spend a week on the lake in the summer. Convenient to grocery and activities. Definitely recommend.

I was staying while in town for business. I booked here because the good hotel was full, and the other hotels were marginal.
The main issue is that the house smells of mildew. It is clear that the paneling in the upstairs bedroom has been damaged by water well before being painted over, and charcoal filled odor eliminating bags hang from the back of the bedroom door. We noticed the smell immediately on entering the house. We stayed downstairs as the smell is stronger upstairs than down.
It would have been nice to have some games etc. available since it is a vacation destination.
With regards to VRBO there are a lot of charges, including an additional charge to cover a $3000 dollar damage insurance premium. This makes short term rental of less than a week or so very costly.
