About this apartment rental
A recently renovated first-floor apartment on Route de Balme, with south-east facing views up towards Solaise. One bedroom, a Philippe Starck bathroom with deep bath and separate shower, and a well-equipped open-plan kitchen. The Olympique cable car is a short walk, with the town centre about five minutes on foot.
Location
Albaron is a residence on the Route de Balme, which is very close to the Olympique cable car taking you up to the Bellevarde sector. It takes a few minutes to walk there and the town centre is about 5 mins max. The location is great. The apartment is on the 1st floor, with a spectacular view up to Solaise and it has a lift available off the entry hall.
The Space:
Light comes in generously on this first floor, and the renovation has made the most of it. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is the heart of the apartment. The kitchen is fully stocked: oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge with separate freezer, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine and filter coffee machine. A washing machine and dryer handle the practical side of longer stays.
The dining area sits adjacent with plenty of seating, and the living side has a sofa, armchair and French smart TV. A queen-size sofa bed (160 x 190 cm) is available when needed. Automatic blinds on every window give you control over light and privacy at any hour.
The bedroom is calm and well-proportioned, with a queen double bed (160 x 200 cm) and good storage throughout. The bathroom is a considered piece of design: a Philippe Starck deep bath, separate shower cubicle, heated towel rail, sink and WC. Hot water comes from the building's central system, so there are no tank limitations to think about.
A small south-east facing balcony extends from the main living area, with Solaise filling the view ahead.
Guest Access:
The whole apartment is yours for your stay, including the balcony. Underground parking for one vehicle is included. The building has lift access to the apartment.
The Neighborhood:
Albaron sits on Route de Balme, a quiet position with strong access to the slopes. The Olympique cable car, connecting to the Bellevarde sector, is a few minutes on foot. Val d'Isère's town centre, with its restaurants, bars and shops, is about five minutes' walk. The free resort shuttle stops nearby for days when you'd rather not walk.
Getting Around:
Within the resort the free shuttle bus and your own feet cover most of what you need. To reach Val d'Isère, most guests drive or transfer from one of the nearby airports: Geneva, Lyon, and Chambéry are the main options.
Interaction with Guests:
We're available throughout your stay if anything comes up.
