The "Kietzspeicher 31" duplex vacation apartment — featuring a beautiful
lake view — awaits you with 65 m² of living space on the 4th and 5th floors and is accessible by
elevator. In the entryway, you’ll find a
closet with a full-length mirror. As soon as you step into the living area
, you can let your gaze wander out the large windows toward Lake Müritz.
The Mediterranean-style living/dining area features a couch, a
coffee table, two armchairs, and a footstool. A stereo system,
a DVD player, a flat-screen TV (cable), and a small selection of
board games will help pass the time when the weather isn’t
cooperating. In the fully equipped, bright country-style kitchen, you’ll find a
stove with a glass-ceramic cooktop, an oven, and a dishwasher. A coffee maker,
egg cooker, spices, a small selection of teas, and an electric kettle are
of course also included. The cozy dining area seats 4 people, and an exceptional selection of china, silverware, and glasses leaves nothing to be desired. The bedroom on the 4th floor is furnished with two
single beds (90 cm x 190 cm; 120 cm x 200 cm), nightstands, lamps, and a small
wardrobe. A gable window offers a view of the
Old Town—if you leave the blinds up, you’ll be woken up by the sun! The
bedroom on the 5th floor is accessible via a staircase. It features a
double bed (2 x 90 cm x 200 cm), a wardrobe, 2 nightstands with
lamps, and a flat-screen TV (cable). From here, you can also access the
enclosed balcony, which is furnished with a parasol, table, and chairs. The
bright, tiled bathroom with natural light features a shower, a sink, and
ample storage space. A washing machine is available here. A
small storage room hides all the things you don’t want to see all the time
(vacuum cleaner, clothes rack, etc.) Built around 1840, the historic
Kietzspeicher is located in a very central yet quiet spot on the Müritz and near the old town
of Waren. Small shops, a hair salon, and a café with its own
roastery are located right in the building, and the “MÜRITZEUM” is directly across the street. Right
in front of the building, buses, boats, and bicycles for tours through
the Mecklenburg countryside, where you can explore the culture, history, and
cuisine. This is also the perfect starting point for nature explorers and enthusiasts heading to the Müritz National Park. Your vacation rental
also includes a parking space on the parking deck (multi-level parking), with a
maximum vehicle weight of 1.5 metric tons. You can store your bicycles in a
lockable communal bike storage room. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the
