Heron`s Nest is one of our thoughtfully curated retreats, created to bring together two things we believe belong side by side: wild places and elevated comfort.
Nestled in the heart of Waterville—the Gateway to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon—this beautifully restored bungalow invites you to experience the Pennsylvania Wilds the way we do. As lifelong outdoor enthusiasts, the Pine Creek Valley isn`t just where we host—it`s our home waters. It`s where we fish, hike, bike, paddle, and find restoration. We created Heron`s Nest to share that experience with others.

Walk to McConnel`s Store, The Waterville Hotel, and Cummings Township Recreation Park. Step onto the 66-mile Pine Creek Rail Trail just behind the property. Cast a fly into Big Pine Creek or Little Pine Creek. Hike to breathtaking overlooks, paddle scenic waterways, explore seven Pennsylvania State Parks, or wander through more than 2.4 million acres of the Pennsylvania Wilds.
This is a place where mornings begin with mist rising from the creek, afternoons are spent outdoors, and evenings end beneath star-filled skies.

Heron`s Nest comfortably welcomes up to six guests in three inviting upstairs bedrooms:
• Primary Suite with a luxurious king bed
• Boutique-inspired queen bedroom
• Twin bedroom with two twin beds and a Pack `n Play for little adventurers
Premium mattresses, luxurious linens, plush pillows, and thoughtfully layered bedding create the kind of deep, restorative sleep that prepares you for another day outside.
🛁 RESTORE
The spacious first-floor bathroom was designed to bring a little spa experience to the mountains.
Enjoy an oversized walk-in jetted shower, double vanity, private water closet, plush towels, and the convenience of a full-size washer and dryer with complimentary detergent, iron, and ironing board.

Some of the best vacation memories happen around the table.
The fully equipped kitchen features quartz countertops, a gas range, full-sized refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig cappuccino maker, air fryer, blender, toaster, cookware, bakeware, spices, coffee, and cooking essentials.
