This property enjoys a quiet countryside location, with stunning countryside views, close to the Devon/Cornwall border. It is within easy reach of some of Cornwall’s finest seaside spots, including the sandy beaches of Bude and Sandymouth Bay and the attractive fishing port of Boscastle. Back over the border into Devon, the Surfers paradise of Westward Ho is only a 30 minute drive away and boasts amusements, arcades and restaurants. Also a short drive away is the family theme parks " The Big Sheep" and the "Milky Way" . A huge hit is the North Devon Wake Park which offers wake boarding, and onsite aqua park for fun for all families. Nearby Tamar Lakes offers footpaths and cycle paths to explore and water activities. Also Dartmoor and Exmoor is just over an hours drive away


Stepping into the property, which is all on one level, you are immediately in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a Smart TV, comfy corner sofa bed to accommodate an extra guest, feature fireplace with electric log style burner, and a dining table and chairs. The well-equipped kitchen boasts an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, air fryer, fridge and washing machine. French doors off the lounge area lead to the rear enclosed garden. The bedrooms, both of which are spacious, are off the hall and consist of one king size with TV and one twin. The bathroom completes the accommodation with a shower over the bath and WC.


Heading outside there is a private, secure patio garden to the rear of the cottage, equipped with outdoor furniture and BBQ, making it the perfect space for guests to relax, dine and soak up the stunning scenery. You can even collect eggs from the owner's chicken enclosure where they keep rescued chickens. There is also an on-site laundry that guests are welcome to use including a tumble dryer, and an additional freezer. Also included in your stay is unlimited use of the unique dog washing facility, fully equipped with a warm shower, deluxe doggy shampoo and fresh, fluffy towels. There are two extremely friendly Shetland ponies, named Tilly and Teddy who love meeting new friends, and guests young and old alike will enjoy petting and playing with them.
