This retreat overlooks the popular Wolfscote and Beresford Dales, and you can walk from the door into these dales in a couple of hundred metres. Amble alongside the River Dove, and onto Dovedale – regarded as one of the finest valleys in the region. To enhance the adventure, an exceptionally scenic bus service connects local villages, providing keen walkers the opportunity to catch a bus and walk back to the charming cottage, ensuring a delightful and convenient exploration of the picturesque surroundings.
Upon entering the shepherd's hut, you'll find a delightful living/dining space adorned with charm, colour and warmth, seamlessly connected to a perfectly proportioned kitchen. There’s a host of beautiful features inside this retreat that will make you feel right at home, from the colourful stained glass windows to the charming cabinets. A wood burner ensures you can throw a log on the fire and create a wonderful atmosphere during the evening.
