About this cottage rental
Set just half a mile from the breathtaking Lulworth Cove and Stair Hole in a peaceful cul-de-sac, this delightful cottage is perfect for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Nearby attractions include Lulworth Castle (2.5 miles), the Fossil Forest (0.5 miles) and the natural arch of Durdle Door (1.5 miles). There are plenty of beautiful beaches nearby including Ringstead Bay (11 miles), Kimmeridge Bay (8.5 miles) and Worbarrow Beach (3 miles). Heading inland you can visit the Tank Museum (6.5 miles) and Monkey World (6 miles), or discover Dorchester (13 miles) a popular market town famous for its links to Thomas Hardy. Heading east you could explore the ruins of Corfe Castle (10 miles) or the Hartland Moor Nature Reserve (10 miles).
Entering this pretty property you will find the first of two lounges. Featuring beams, an oak floor and a wood burner set in a beamed fireplace and Smart TV, this is a lovely space to relax in. There are also three sets of French doors leading to the garden. The second lounge is snug and has a selection of games and books as well as a Bluetooth wireless speaker. Exploring further, there’s a stylish kitchen/diner with French doors to the garden. The dining area is perfect for enjoying a family meal, and the attractive kitchen is fully equipped with a range oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. The utility room houses the washing machine and a tumble dryer and an extra fridge/freezer can be found in the garage. The ground floor also features a separate WC. Going upstairs, you will find three comfortable bedrooms, all with reduced height in the eaves. There are two double rooms (one with a 5’ bed) each with an en-suite shower room with WC. There’s also a twin room and a study with room for a cot. You will also find a bathroom complete with a bath and WC.
Heading outside, the back garden is a lovely space to relax in with a paved terrace and outdoor furniture offering a delightful country view. A couple of steps lead up to the lawn. Parking is available for three cars: two on the gravelled area to the front of the property and one to the side.
