About this cottage rental
Commanding an enchanting rural position, with the nearby Monsal Trail offering a splendid route for cyclists through the re-opened railway tunnels. There are various walks right on the doorstep of the barn, which are a great way for exploring this beautiful part of the world. The nearby villages offer local amenities, including pubs and restaurants for those who’ve worked up an appetite outdoors.
The barn has beautiful exposed wooded beams which give the property a wonderful character throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials and a lounge-diner has an electric effect log burning stove which creates an inviting ambience on cold evenings.
Upstairs the main bedroom has a double bed and exposed beams, giving the room a cosy feel. The bedroom also has an en-suite with bath, shower-over, hand basin and toilet. The second bright bedroom contains two single beds and there is a family bathroom with a shower, hand basin and toilet.
Outside there is a lovely patio area that surrounds the barn, with outdoor seating for al fresco dining or simply sitting out and enjoying the rural surrounds of the property. There is a shared stone walled garden which is a lovely grassed area ideal for children and dogs.
This property is ideal for groups and links internally with Stable Barn, booked together can sleep nine people, making it ideal for special occasions and entertaining.
