Thrill seekers will love a trip to Whinlatter Forest (8.5 miles) which puts the mountain back into biking. With climbs to breathtaking vistas and rewarding descents, the trails are perfect for those searching for their next adrenaline hit. The popular towns of Grasmere, Ambleside and Windermere are also within easy reach, all within 20 miles.
