About this cottage rental

Located in a country village, this cottage sits alongside a lane running directly down to Seatown beach. Less than 1 mile away, you can walk, cycle or drive down to the beach and leave your car in Seatown car park. Spend lazy afternoons by the shore, taking in views of the beautiful Golden Cap. Or don your walking shoes and head up Langdon Hill less than 1 mile away and reward yourselves with the fantastic views. Upon your return to your home-from-home, pick up your groceries from the village store less than 200 metres from your front door. Within 500 metres you’ll find two pubs, both serving hot food and refreshing drinks or an award-winning pub is within walking distance in Seatown.

Step up through the front door and and into the hallway. From here a door and step to your left takes you into the sitting/dining room, while straight ahead along the hallway, a step up leads to the downstairs shower room, stairs and kitchen. In the split level sitting/dining room, this spacious room is home to a dining table and ample comfy seating. Dotted with original details, the room has a cosy feel and provides plenty of entertainment, with a TV, a radio and a selection of books. Light up the wood burner to warm up winter nights and gather the family around for a film or game of charades. From the lounge area, another door and step up lead you into the kitchen; equipped with a range cooker, a dishwasher, a fridge, a microwave and more, the space is yours to cook up a culinary sensation. Up another small step from the kitchen, there is a spacious sun room with another dining area and a stable door leading out to the garden. Sit in the sun room with a morning coffee or relax for a while with a book in the chair. From the hallway the curved staircase leads up to the property’s three bedrooms which include two doubles (one with an additional single bed) and another with bunk beds. Also upstairs is the second bathroom which has a roll-top bath where you can luxuriate after a day of exploring. A fantastic traditional cottage with some original exposed beams and partially sloping ceilings upstairs.

Heading outside from the sun room at the back of the property is the tiered, landscaped garden. The enclosed garden is a lovely spot to drink in the sunshine from the different levels. Four steps lead up to the patio area where you can relax with a drink or dine al fresco. From the patio, some small steps lead up to a garden bench on the top tier. It also comes equipped with a BBQ and lawn areas. On the opposite side of the street to the cottage, there is dedicated off road parking available for up to two cars.
