About this cottage rental
Perfect for couples and small families, this lovely farm cottage has its own hot tub overlooking open fields. Right from your doorstep, you’ll find some great country walks through the surrounding fields. There’s a well-known farm shop just 1.5 miles away with lovely café for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Visit National Trust Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest and Rufford Abbey, which are all within 15 miles. Southwell is 6 miles away with its famous minster along with independent shops and cafes. Newark-on-Trent is 7 miles away where you can find lots to do from picnics on the castle grounds to taking a boat trip on the river to visiting to the civil war museum.
Step into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and put your feet up on the comfortable sofa which doubles up as a double sofa bed, perfect for little ones. Cook up a meal for in the nearby kitchen area then come together around the dining table for a celebratory meal with views over the open fields. There is a handy downstairs shower room. Upstairs, you will find a further en-suite shower room, along with two bedrooms: a master double room and a twin room with wonderful countryside views.
Outside, there is a garden to the front of the cottage with a table and chairs, perfect for dining alfresco. After log days walking the area, the hot tub awaits, situated perfectly to enjoy the views.
