About this cottage rental
With origins dating back to the 1700s, this property has history and charm aplenty. Given a thorough makeover by talented hands, it now embraces its new chapter with style whilst still retaining its authentic twinkle. Heading inside, drop your bags and shake off your boots in the entrance hall and wander in the lounge. Coupled with the room's statement feature wall, the two sofas and wood burner are an enticing combination after a day out and about. For evening entertainment, the room has a Smart TV (with Freeview), DVD player and SONAS sound system. Next to capture your attention is the kitchen/diner. With soft tones and bright, spacious feel, it is a great place to relax over a cup of Yorkshire tea or family meal. Furnished with everything you could, the kitchen houses a double oven, electric hob, dishwasher, full-size fridge-freezer and kettle, as well as a coffee machine. Located upstairs are both bedrooms. The first bedroom has a super-king-size bed (which can also be turned into two singles) and the second bedroom has the same, with the addition of an en-suite shower cubicle too. The family bathroom is also upstairs, home to a striking original Victorian ‘slipper' bath.
Leading out from the kitchen, you can access the property's garden. With a completely private walled garden and irresistible hot tub, you can start and end your day with a luxurious dip. For lunch en-plein air, there is outdoor seating provided.
