Set in the peaceful Bride Valley, Litton Cheney offers a wonderfully tranquil base for your Dorset escape, with easy access to many of the county’s best‑loved attractions. Just a mile away, Litton Lakes provides a stunning waterside setting for paddleboarding, kayaking or simply unwinding with a drink by the café. In the heart of the village, you’ll find a welcoming, family‑run pub with a lovely garden, as well as the charmingly quirky restaurant Rachel’s, perfect for relaxed meals and drinks right on your doorstep.
The spectacular Jurassic Coast is close by, with its dramatic cliffs and popular beaches, while the vibrant towns of Bridport (6 miles) and Dorchester (9 miles) offer great places to eat, shop and explore. Abbotsbury’s subtropical gardens and swannery, the iconic Cerne Abbas giant and the charming seaside town of Lyme Regis are all within easy reach, giving you plenty to discover throughout your stay.
Adjacent to the owners’ home, yet with privacy assured, a shared gravel drive gives access to this first-floor apartment. A narrow path leads to the entrance door, with nine steps leading up to it. Once inside, you are met with a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is to the left and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Next, there is an inviting sofa beside a Smart TV, a wood burner-effect electric fire and a dining area can be found just opposite. A door leads from this space into the twin bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room with a WC. Due to the setting within the eaves, there are some areas of restricted head height.
The main entrance door and five steps will take you to the private enclosed garden. Mostly laid to lawn and boasting pretty borders, this lovely space has a table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining. An off-road parking with space located below apartment.
