About this cottage rental
Filled to the brim with traditional charm, this converted barn combines both original elements and contemporary style. Head inside via the vast glass doors and take in the spacious entrance hall. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped, with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. An oak dining table provides plenty of space for six to dine together. Continuing through the property, you’ll find the large lounge with sumptuous leather sofas to sink into after a long day of activities, enjoy a film on the TV/DVD and for cooler evenings settle in front of the blazing wood burner. Completing this floor is a cloakroom with WC. Heading upstairs via the handmade oak staircase are three bedrooms which are beautifully presented with original oak beams and wooden floorboards. The master bedroom is a double with a dressing table as well as an en-suite with shower and WC. The twin bedroom is perfect for children, and a final king-size room offers a versatile zip-and-link bed. Finally, you’ll find a family bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and WC, the perfect spot for a soak after a long walk.
To the rear of the property, you’ll find a delightful private courtyard, fully furnished with an outdoor dining set and a BBQ for warm summer evenings. Take in the vast views of the Usk Valley and Black Mountains from your very own outdoor space, enjoying fresh morning coffee or a well-deserved evening tipple.
