Its idyllic location in the peaceful village of Llanyblodwel, means there are many interesting places close by to this wonderful holiday home. Oswestry (4 miles) boasts boutique shopping and culinary delights from the farmers’ market and local eateries. It is also a great area for walking and cycling with numerous trails including the National Trust’s Offa’s Dyke, and Tanat Valley. Golfers have clubs at Mile End and Llanymynech, both within 5 miles. Visit medieval Shrewsbury (16 miles), Welshpool (12 miles) with its steam trains, Ellesmere (12 miles) and its water front or take a horse-drawn canal ride in Llangollen (17 miles). Explore Llanrhaeadr Waterfall (Pistyll Rhaeadr), visit Owain Glyndwr’s Mount or go for a walk up Admiral Rodney’s Pillar, all within 12 miles. Head into Wales and visit the stunning Lake Vyrnwy and Bala Lake.
