About this cottage rental
Enjoying an enviable location on the cusp of the North York Moors, this lovely property is perfect for exploring the North Riding Forest Park (16.5 miles) and the glorious Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (9 miles). This is a fantastic base for enjoying long rural walks with pretty villages along the way including Hutton-le-Hole (4 miles) and the charming town of Kirkbymoorside (1.5 miles) where you will find a choice of great shops, restaurants and pubs. You could also visit popular market towns like Pickering (9 miles) and Helmsley (7.5 miles). The beautiful Castle Howard (13.5 miles) is also well worth a visit or you can even enjoy a day by the sea at Scarborough (26.5 miles).
On entering this beautiful property which is set over one level, you will find yourself in the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With high ceilings and bi-folding doors offering glorious rural views, this lovely space makes an ideal base for your holiday. The bright and comfortable lounge is ideal for relaxing in, with comfortable seating, a warming wood burner and TV. At the other end of the room, there's a sizeable dining area, and the stylish kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and washing machine/tumble dryer. Exploring this single-level property further, there's a sumptuous bedroom with a 7' super king-size bed. This can be made up as a twin room by prior arrangement. You will also find an elegant bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.
Heading through the bi-folding doors, you will find a private terrace which looks out over the North York Moors. Here you can sit back and relax with a drink or a BBQ. You will also have access to a shared hard court for tennis and a shared games room with a billiards table and dart board. A summer house is shared with the neighbouring cottage and can be booked for an evening with advance notice. A hot tub can also be arranged for guests wishing to hire, at an additional cost starting from £175.00.
