About this cottage rental
Located at the northern tip of the Yorkshire Dales, the property would be well suited to keen walkers looking to explore the stunning landscape. After a long walk through the Wensleydale countryside, stop at the Wensleydale Heiffer for a restorative lunch before heading home. A 10-mile drive will bring you to charming Richmond, home to a historic castle, cobbled market square and choice of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
Step into the formal entrance that opens into the charming lounge. With an open fire, formal dining area beside an original window, exposed beams overhead and wooden floors below, this is a delightful room for dining and relaxing in front of the Smart TV. The bright and modern kitchen beyond features cream units, oak worktops, a bistro-style table and French doors opening out onto the courtyard. The kitchen is equipped with everything you should need for preparing delicious meals for the family including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. A master double bedroom enjoys direct access to the courtyard garden, perfect for that first cup of coffee in the morning. The second bedroom is a delightful twin with traditional bed throws and is decorated in a cosy cottage style. Finally, a chic and contemporary bathroom with walk-in shower at the end of the corridor completes the living space.
Outside, the pretty and peaceful courtyard garden is beautifully stocked with colourful borders and beds and enjoys lovely views of the church. It's the perfect spot for al fresco dining with the family or a relaxing drink on an evening. On street parking is available to the front of the cottage.
