Nearby are the vibrant market towns of Harrogate and Knaresborough, which offer plenty of fantastic pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops, as well as a host of great attractions including the Waterside, the historic Knaresborough Castle, Mother Shiptons Cave, the Valley Gardens, the Stray, Harlow Carr RHS Gardens, Harrogate Theatre, the Turkish Baths and the Royal Pump Room Museum. Starbeck railway station is 0.4 miles away. There are plenty of wonderful walks nearby including the Nidd Gorge and the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or you could visit Harewood House, Ripley Castle or Brimham Rocks. Popular towns and cities including York, Skipton, Ilkley, Thirsk and Ripon are all easily accessible.
