About this cottage rental
Located in the centre of Cartmel with its quaint cobbled streets, pubs, shops, restaurants and delightful stream sidewalks. Cartmel Racecourse is home to the UK’s shortest steeplechase and has a full diary of interesting events. The seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands is a lovely place to spend the day exploring the attractions on the town’s promenade and is only a short drive away as well as Ambleside, Grasmere, Coniston, or Ulverston, this is a perfect base to explore some of the hidden treasures of the Lake District.
Head up a few steps and through the front door into the inviting lounge, where a warm and cosy atmosphere sets the tone for your stay. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring, with a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, a wood burner and a Smart TV for relaxed evenings in.
The stylish kitchen is ideal for family meals, thoughtfully designed with a built‑in seating area and patio doors that open straight out into the garden. It’s fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a hearty feast. Just off the lounge is a snug - a great little hideaway for the kids to enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. On this floor you’ll also find a shower room with WC and a handy utility area with a washing machine.
Upstairs are two beautifully presented bedrooms, both with wall‑mounted Smart TVs. There’s a king‑size room and a 2'6'' twin zip‑and‑link (which can be made into a king‑size on request) with its own en‑suite shower room and WC. Completing the first floor is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath - perfect for a long soak after a day out.
Outside, the peaceful garden patio is a real treat. Tucked away and wonderfully cosy, it’s the ideal spot to spend your evenings relaxing in the fresh air.

- 3 bathrooms - 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC, 1 ground floor shower room with WC and 1 en-suite shower and WC
- Electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, wine cooler, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. The kitchen also has underfloor heating
- Utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer
- Wood burner (first basket of logs included)
- Parking is available at the Racecourse where you can pay according to your length of stay, it is a short distance from the property
- Pub, shops and restaurants within walking distance
