About this cottage rental
The ideal base for a relaxing break or for touring local attractions, the village of Middlemarsh is set in a peaceful, rural spot. The Abbey town of Sherborne has a rich history and beautiful honey-coloured streets filled with independent shops and eateries, as well as two castles. Dorset’s county town, Dorchester, is 11 miles to the south and has a good range of high street shops, pubs, bars and cafes. Those wishing to get active can explore this picturesque area on foot or by bike, with routes taking in local landmarks including the Cerne Abbas Giant. Further accessible attractions include the Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor Museum.
