About this cottage rental
With vaulted ceilings and exposed beams throughout the Stone Byre is set within the heart of the original farmyard offering access onto the surrounding countryside via the well waymarked foot paths. Just four miles from the vibrant market town of Ledbury, a fascinating place to explore, where you will find an excellent choice of seasonal local produce and crafts along with inviting Herefordshire hospitality. This central location offers easy access into the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, The Malvern Hills and Three Counties Show Ground. Spend a day in the Cotswolds where you can take your pick of picturesque villages or wander one of the many National Trust gardens. Take a trip to Cheltenham, famed for a day at the races or one of their many festivals. The area has a vibrant events calendar hosting events throughout the year to suit all tastes, including food festivals, the medieval festival and blossom trail.
Enjoy the views as you approach the electric gates that give access to the parking area for the barn, which is surrounded by enclosed gardens. Double doors open into the kitchen/diner, a spacious room with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The kitchen is cool and contemporary and perfect for the best of chefs, equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, with a table and chairs for four set to the side. When the time comes to relax, the lounge offers a relaxing space with large sofa and armchairs that front a wood burner effect gas fire and a Smart TV. Two sets of double doors lead out to the patio area and garden. There are two bedrooms both with smart TV's situated at either end of the barn, a king-size with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, and finally a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a 2ft 6 twin on request) with en-suite shower and WC.
The barn offers plenty of space to the front and rear, to the front a lawn and patio area with table and chair with some change of level and landscaping, to the rear a raised area with a garden sofa along with a wooden steps down to a lawned area. There is storage for bikes and parking for two cars with its own EV charging point. For those of you with dogs there is ample space set aside in the surrounding fields for walks and exercise.
