About this cottage rental
The cottage sits within five acres of the owners' grounds, where guests are invited to enjoy this lovely open space at their leisure and take in the peace and serenity of the area. Located within the rolling picturesque Dorset countryside, this is the perfect spot for guests looking for a relaxing break in peaceful surroundings, with an array of walks from the properties that lead over the picture postcard landscape. With its central location, the cottage is ideal for guests looking to explore the wider area, from Cerne Abbas with its famous giant carved into the chalk hillside, Weymouth Sea Life Park and Marine Sanctuary, Abbotsbury Swannery, to the awe inspiring World Heritage Jurassic Coast that is a must for guests visiting the area, to name but a few.
On entering the cottage you will find yourself in the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With exposed beams, ample seating, TV and DVD, the lounge is ideal for relaxing in. There is also a sofa bed which can be made up to sleep either an adult or up to two children. With a pleasantly situated dining area and a stylish, contemporary kitchen area equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave, this is an ideal base for your self catering holiday. There is also a shared utility room with fridge and freezer facilities and a washing machine available in an outbuilding. Completing the ground floor is the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Heading upstairs you will find a comfortable and spacious super king-size bedroom, which has French doors opening out onto the private enclosed balcony.
Stepping outside you will have access to the shared lawns, with a small ornamental pond (please take care with children). There is a seating area to the rear of the property where you can relax, or you can explore the extensive grounds. You will also have use of a shared utility room, containing fridge and freezer facilities and a washing machine.
