About this cottage rental
This property enjoys a fantastic farmland location, just four miles from the nearest beach at Buck Mills, and with easy access to both the Devon and Cornwall coasts. The pretty fishing village of Clovelly is just 3.5 miles away, where visitors can enjoy guided tours, the Victorian kitchen garden, boat trips, the two museums and craft workshops. Just a little further away, beach lovers will not want to miss a day trip to Westward Ho! to the north and the Cornish seaside resort of Bude to the south.
On entering this spacious property, guests will find the comfortable lounge the perfect space to relax at the end of the day, with its comfortable seating, woodburner (with logs included), Smart TV with Netflix and DVD. The large kitchen/diner is another social space, and offers seating at the breakfast bar, as well as at the dining table. There is everything that guests will need to prepare their favourite meals, including an electric range oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. There is also a convenient ground floor shower room with WC. Open-tread stairs lead from the lounge to the first floor, where the property’s three bedrooms are located, all of which have a TV. The main bedroom is a king with a Juliet balcony and en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom is a Super-king-size which can be made up as a twin on request thanks to its zip-and-link beds, whilst the third room is a twin. The main bathroom is on this floor and features a shower over bath, heated towel rail and WC.
Outside, the property has an enclosed rear garden, with seating and BBQ with the added bonus of a relaxing hot tub. Guests are also able to visit the owners’ 90 acre farm and meet the animals, as well as enjoy walks in the adjacent woodlands.
