About this cottage rental
Situated in a quiet and peaceful setting within 150 acres with picturesque views across open fields towards Holsworthy. With a beautiful scenic lake, there is an extremely attractive and abundant mixture of flora and fauna around the many fields which are well worth a stroll.
The nearby cattle market town of Holsworthy offers a sports centre where you can enjoy a swim in the indoor heated pool, visit the weekly cattle and pannier market or enjoy the Holsworthy cycle route, a game of golf, go fishing, riding or just take a leisurely country stroll. The dramatic North Cornish coastline, surfing beaches and seaside attractions at Bude are a short drive and the rugged scenery of Dartmoor, Exmoor or Bodmin Moor are within easy distance. There are numerous tourist attractions in the area such as The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Dartington Crystal, The Tamar Otter Park, King Arthur's Tintagel and National Trust properties are a selection.
The upside-down style accommodation retains much of its original charm and character, with exposed beams to the upper floor areas and offers three bedrooms: downstairs is a spacious double bedroom, twin bedroom and single bedroom all decorated in a country charm. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower and WC. The lounge on the first floor with electric fire offers lovely countryside views. The well equipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer is located upstairs with beautiful views.
Outside is an enclosed garden and patio with BBQ and shared games barn with pool table and table tennis. Or why not wonder over to the lake and relax and enjoy your surroundings.
