About this cottage rental
One of two properties, grade 11 Listed, converted village barn into two separate dwellings - sleeps 4 and property code STBN8 sleeps two.
The barn has been skilfully converted into two comfortable holiday homes retaining many of the original features including exposed beams and low doorways. The property over looks 55 acres of common ground which you are free to explore, with a duck pond and children’s play area. The owners run a vintage car restoration business on site.
Located in Mulbarton which offers a small collection of shops, Chinese, fish and chip shop and an Adnam’s pub, all within walking distance of the property. It is within easy reach of the fine city of Norwich with its cathedrals, theatres and night life. A little further takes you to the Norfolk Broads for day boat hire and fishing. Great Yarmouth for traditional seaside entertainment or Lowestoft with vast stretches of sandy beaches and promenade, both within a 1 hour drive.
Entering this charming barn full of character the kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. The lounge is located on the first floor with electric effect fire, flatscreen TV and video. The master double bedroom is on the first floor along with the bathroom having shower and separate bath. The twin bedroom is located on the second floor, this is accessed via open tread stairs which also leads to a gallery overlooking the lounge. Gallery with balustrade rails. (Children must be supervised). Outside: regret no outside area although the properties back onto a very large common, perfect for walkers and children to let off steam.
