Located within a small peaceful complex in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this semi-detached stone-built holiday home offers some of Europe's star gazing opportunities. The charming village of Rothbury is close by, sitting on the banks of the river Coquet and providing essential amenities. This area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with river activities, golf, cycling, and walking routes nearby. For day trips, visit Cragside House and Gardens, while Northumberland's magnificent coastline with its sandy beaches awaits exploration. History buffs will appreciate the proximity to Hadrian's Wall, an impressive site of historical significance.
Inside, the property features a bright and spacious kitchen/diner equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and microwave. Three steps down from the hallway leads to a comfortable lounge offering far-reaching valley views and a cosy wood burner perfect for relaxing on cooler evenings. The ground floor also houses a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom including shower and WC. Upstairs, you'll find a twin bedroom with its own en-suite shower room and WC, also benefiting from wonderful countryside views. Both rooms provide comfortable accommodation with modern amenities.
The large front patio provides an ideal space for al fresco dining while taking in the breath-taking views over open countryside and towards the Cheviot Hills. The lawn area offers space for outdoor games like boules. Off the kitchen/diner, a glazed door leads to a shared courtyard with a private area perfect for enjoying morning coffee or breakfast. The holiday home benefits from allocated off-road parking for three vehicles. Please note that there are steps leading up to the entrance of the property.
