Nearby are a variety of fascinating places to visit, including Chavenage House, an Elizabethan manor house, and the National Arboretum at Westonbirt. Berkeley Castle, Highgrove House, Gatcombe Park and the famous Wildfowl and Wetlands site at Slimbridge are also within easy reach. For the more active holidaymaker, the Cotswold Water Park offers a wide range of nature activities and water sports. Further afield there are great events to enjoy including the Cheltenham Gold Cup, Cirencester Polo, Badminton horse trials, Highgrove House and Gatcombe Park.
