The vacation home on Fur is located on a cul-de-sac near the harbor, offering you both access to the island’s vibrant life and the peace and quiet to retreat. With three bedrooms, it’s ideal for families or groups of friends, and the house is designed so you can spend time together in the living area while still having space to yourself.
The open-concept kitchen and living area is the heart of the home, with space to cook together, eat around the dining table, and watch movies on the big sofa. The paintings on the walls are by local artists, and the quirky upcycled finds give the house its unique character. One of the bedrooms has its own balcony.
The location on a cul-de-sac ensures peace and quiet outside. The beach is just a short walk from the house, and you can run errands on foot. From the harbor, you can watch the ferry traffic and observe the island’s daily rhythm while sitting on a bench with an ice cream in hand.
On the island, you’ll find Havens Deli, which serves great coffee and lunch, a playground and a restaurant at the campground, as well as flea markets and antique shops scattered throughout the island. The hike up to Bette Jens’ Hyw offers views of Fur’s nature and landscape and is a must-see stop on a tour of the island.
