Located just minutes from downtown Hot Springs, Smallville Farm offers the peaceful setting of the countryside while remaining close to restaurants, shopping, hiking, lakes, and area attractions.

Located within the Hot Springs / Hot Springs National Park vicinity in Garland County (ZIP 71901). The immediate stretch of Shady Grove Road is mostly low-density residential and historic farm properties with wooded lots. Downtown Hot Springs and Bathhouse Row are northwest of the address (10–15 minutes by car). Outdoor recreation (Hot Springs National Park trails, Lake Hamilton/Catherine) and local attractions like Oaklawn are nearby by short drive. The vibe: quiet, wooded, semi-rural residential with quick access to Hot Springs amenities.

Best for guests with a car—the area is car-dependent with limited public transit. Hot Springs municipal bus service operates routes around the city (limited hours/days), but services don’t reliably reach every Shady Grove neighborhood; rideshare and taxis are available in town but can be spotty outside central Hot Springs. Driving times: downtown Hot Springs ~10–15 minutes; Oaklawn and Bathhouse Row ~10–20 minutes depending on route and traffic. On-site parking is available.

• Entire Property Reservation: This listing includes exclusive access to all four accommodations on Smallville Farm. No other guests will be staying in these accommodations during your reservation.

• Farm Setting: Smallville Farm is a real working hobby farm. You’ll hear roosters crow, may see wildlife, and can expect the sounds and sights that come with country living.

• Loft Sleeping Areas: Both Retro Studio Apartments include queen loft beds accessed by a ladder. These sleeping areas are best suited for older children, teens, and agile adults.

• Parking: Free parking is available for multiple vehicles, making it easy for large groups traveling separately.

• Wildlife & Insects: As with any country property, you may occasionally encounter insects, frogs, deer, or other wildlife. We perform regular pest control, but nature is part of the experience.

• Optional Guest Experiences: Animal feed buckets, guided morning animal feedings, and Retroverse Museum tours are available during your stay and can be reserved separately.
