Gas central heating, fuel, power and a starter pack for the woodburning stove are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels. Outside, there is off-road parking for four cars. The town boasts an array of interesting boutiques and craft shops, or you can treat yourselves to a meal at one of the numerous local restaurants. Lymington is surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from the heathlands and ancient woodlands of the New Forest to the coastal nature reserves which extend for 5 miles culminating in the shingle spit which is home to Hurst Castle, built in 1554 by Henry VIII. Lymington provides an excellent touring base from which to explore the New Forest, the Isle of Wight and the Hampshire coast.
