There is a version of Florida most visitors never see, and it happens between September and November. The water off Indian Shores stays warm enough to swim without thinking about it. The sand that was shoulder-to-shoulder in July is suddenly, gloriously empty. The air drops out of the nineties and parking exists again.
This home was built for exactly that trip: a fully renovated, single-level four-bedroom in a quiet Seminole neighborhood, seven-tenths of a mile from the beach, with a backyard that does what most Florida rentals only promise.
WHO THIS HOME IS FOR
Families travelling with kids of wildly different ages. Multi-generational groups where the grandparents need no stairs and the teenagers need somewhere to disappear to. Two or three couples splitting a house. Snowbirds easing into the season. Anyone bringing a dog who is tired of listings that say "pet-friendly" and mean otherwise.

THE PROBLEM WITH MOST BEACH RENTALS IN FALL

One recent guest put it plainly: "Outside of the pool, the game room was our son's favorite place to be. We played pool, air hockey, ping pong and more every evening."
THE BACKYARD GAMES - A four-hole mini golf course with putters and balls provided, a custom-built bocce court, a giant Connect 4 and a cornhole set. Few homes in this market have any one of these; almost none have all four.
THE SCREENED POOL AND LANAI
The pool sits inside a full screen enclosure - in Florida, the difference between using your pool in the evening and surrendering it to insects. Four cushioned loungers, two umbrellas, string lights, a ceiling fan and a covered dining area at the water's edge, with French doors straight into the house.
Maximum depth is five feet, and the pool is not heated. In early fall the sun handles that on its own; once evenings cool, the hot tub is the one that earns its keep. We would rather say so plainly now than have you discover it on arrival.
Just off the enclosure, a shaded lanai with a ceiling fan opens into the primary bedroom. Morning coffee out here before anyone else is up is the quiet highlight of the place.
