About this apartment rental
Pelican View apartments offers unrivalled beach access and a truly unique and tranquil way to experience Providenciales. Located in the neighbourhood of Blue Hills you’ll quickly be lulled into the local rhythm of island life.
From Blue Hills it’s an easy 15 minute drive east to the heart of the tourist mecca of Grace Bay; if you travel west you’ll find the best national parks and nature reserves that Turks & Caicos has to offer, often overlooked gems in this island paradise.
The space
The view of the ocean from this second floor corner unit is amazing - no photoshop needed! You are at the end of the spectacular second floor terrace so it's super private. This is my only unit with an outside Grill - make friends with Sawman on the beach and you'll have fresh fish every day. This unit has a full kitchen and spacious living and sleeping areas. There are AC units & ceiling fans in both bedrooms and a mini-split AC unit and ceiling fan in the main living area.

Guest access
Apt #4 is on the second floor of my building, accessed via a short flight of stairs and past Apt #3. The beach across the street is very quiet and offers plenty of opportunities for long walks in solitude. You can watch the sunrise over Grace Bay, or visit the pier just 5 mins west of the apartment to see all the local shore birds. Our beach is a popular fishing spot for the pelicans and Provo's resident Osprey has also been known to visit.
Walking is very easy in Blue Hills - there is a sidewalk and the road is very quiet - BUT if you'd like to explore the rest of the island and have easy access to the bigger supermarkets you are going to need a car. We drive on the left so rent a car if swapping sides doesn't bother you, or simply hire one of our many taxi drivers - they all have large mini-vans and will shuttle you door-to-door or arrange tours for you. They are all locals and are very friendly.
Other things to note
The apartment comes equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, beach shade and a cooler. There are 2 kayaks available for use (shared with the other 3 short-term rental units in the apartment block) equipped with seat pads and paddles and a life jacket.
There is no washer or dryer in the unit but I’m happy to do your laundry for you during your stay. I’m 10 mins away, so close by if you need anything.
There are a number of dogs that hang around the road by the property, they are friendly and will convince you that they need feeding, I do not allow them on the property…. If you are afraid of dogs this is not the place for you.
