Head into Settle and hop aboard the Settle–Carlisle Railway for an unforgettable journey along one of the UK’s most scenic rail routes. The 72-mile track takes in 20 viaducts, 14 tunnels and countless beautiful vistas along the way. Hop off in Horton-in-Ribblesdale if you want to tackle the Yorkshire Dales National Park’s famous Three Peaks: Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside. Alternatively, drive across the Forest of Bowland to visit the historic city of Lancaster (23 miles). Explore its magnificent castle and stroll along St George’s Quay to marvel at the Georgian architecture that lines the banks of the River Lune.
Park your car outside the tent (there’s ample space), and before you head in, take a moment to appreciate the surrounding greenery and tranquillity that make this glamping site so special. Step up onto your private deck and inside the secluded, safari-style tent. Inside, you’ll find a restful double bed and comfy seating perfect for kicking back in after days of outdoor adventures. Enjoy the chosen chef’s work at the outdoor dining table. Guests will also benefit from a separate shower room with WC.
