Overall we loved our stay. The pools and lazy river were great! I wasn't thrilled with our room. The sheets did not fit the bed and we had to fight with that all week. Wasn't the cleanest condo I've stayed in. We had to go and purchase some things to cook with that were not available in the kitchen. We had to call front desk due to garbage disposal leaking. They were very responsive and fixed it the next day. We appreciated that! The couch needs a deep clean. It's very dirty. I would recommend the resort just not the condo we stayed in.

We stayed in this unit for 1 1/2 months in 2019. Nothing has changed! We stayed this year for February and reserved it for 2025 February.The restaurants near by are great.The coffee maker was defective but was replaced within the hour by the great staff. We had a good vacation.The only downside was the pullout couch. It should be replaced. Very difficult for us old folk to get out once sat down. Overall Destin West Resort is very well maintained and it is in a great location

It was an ok stay. The location of the room overlooked the pool with the lazy River. You can tell most guests don’t cook there, because I didn’t even have pot holders for the oven. You have a 5 min walk to get to the beach and have to take 3 elevators to get there. The location is close to a lot of things to do. The staff was very accommodating! We will come back to the area next year but probably won’t stay here.
