About this house rental
Situated in a peaceful location close to the beautiful coast in north-west Sutherland overlooking Lochan Fearna, this cottage is perfect for anglers, with numerous options for both sea, loch and river fishing in the area. The beautiful sandy beach of nearby Clashnessie will be popular with younger family members and is a great spot for a picnic on a sunny day. The pretty fishing village of Lochinver is famous for its fish market. Enjoy a seafood lunch in one of the excellent restaurants before heading to Highland Stoneware to see how the pottery is made.
Stepping inside this single-storey property you are welcomed by a homely atmosphere. Stroll into the lounge and relax on the sofas arranged around a wood burner where you can enjoy cosy family evenings in the warmth. The adjacent kitchen is well-equipped for holiday catering and the central dining table is a pleasant spot to get together for a family meal. All four bedrooms – three king-size and one twin – are warm and comfortable and tastefully decorated to ensure a relaxing stay. In the morning enjoy an invigorating shower before starting your day.
On mild days, throw open the patio doors from the lounge and stroll out into the fresh Highland air with a morning coffee to enjoy the view from the picnic table. Surrounded by a mix of gravel and lawn, the property’s garden is fully enclosed, making it ideal for dogs or children to run around in safety. There is also ample parking outside.
