Perfect for couples and small families uncovering the beauty of Suffolk’s coast and countryside, this single-storey log cabin is located on a 130-acre site, formally an 18 hole golf course being reclaimed by nature through a variety of significant ecological regeneration and restoration projects and retuning elements to its farming roots. Before you head off to explore, make sure to try all the experiences on offer at this splendid estate; walk through the woodlands, meadows and waterways, and make full use of the on-site holistic treatments, stargazing sessions and nature photography walks. Your closest village is Cretingham, which boasts a popular local pub, while the charming towns of Framlingham and Woodbridge are also within 10 miles of the lodge. Uncover the local history with visits to Framlingham Castle and the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo (both within 11.5 miles). You’ll also find it easy to reach Suffolk’s golden coastline, where must-visit destinations include Aldeburgh, the seaside village of Thorpeness, and Sizewell (all within 20 miles).

At the end of each day away, choose from two restful bedrooms: a master king-size with its own en-suite shower room, plus a cosy twin bedroom which makes use of the family bathroom.
Spill outside as often as possible to enjoy the private garden. This tranquil space boasts outdoor furniture for al fresco meals and a bubbling hot tub, perfect for late-night stargazing. Beyond your garden, over 130 acres of shared grounds await discovery. Unique on-site experiences can also be booked, including health and wellbeing treatments, stargazing sessions and nature photography walks (to be arranged and paid for directly with the owners). Completing the lodge is private off-street parking for one car with additional parking a short walk away.
