About this cottage rental
A superb Norfolk retreat, set in the charming Victorian seaside village of Mundesley, this charming cottage is ideal for a family group. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom cottage looks out towards the sea and is just a 0.5 mile stroll from the sandy beach. Enjoy days splashing in the salty shallows and making sandcastles right here, or venture 7 miles into bustling Cromer with its many seaside attractions. Explore the shopping streets and buy fish and chips to eat on the pier in the lively town. Visit Sheringham, 11.5 miles away, where you can catch a steam train along the North Norfolk Railway into Holt, with its boutiques and galleries. Head out on walks along the Norfolk Coast Path from Mundesley. Plan a trip to the National Trust’s Jacobean mansion house of Blickling Hall, 13 miles away. Explore the acres of gorgeous gardens and parkland here.
Enter this charming, two-storey cottage via the hallway, where you can leave shoes and boots. There is also a handy WC. Head into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can relax together as you take in the incredible views. Settle down in here with a cup of tea or a cold drink to watch the Smart TV from the comfort of the sofa. Open the doors to the patio to bring in a sea breeze as you dine at the table. Find everything you need in the kitchen to assist you in cooking up tasty meals. Open the doors from the kitchen to the wonderful sunroom and head through to relax on one of the cushioned seats. You’ll love the serenity as this room offers stunning views towards the horizon. There is also a useful utility room, with a washing machine and counter-top freezer, adjacent to the kitchen. As each day comes to an end, head through to one of the bedrooms. Climb the stairs to the first floor to find the two king-sizes bedrooms, one of which has zip-and-link beds that can be made into a twin on request. There is also a bunk bedroom that the youngsters will love. The chic family bathroom is also up here.
The outside space at this Norfolk cottage is one of its key highlights. Sit down to dine at the table on the patio as you take in the views. Play family games with the children on the grass below. There is parking for two cars on the drive to the front of the property.
