Axminster is 3 miles away, with cafés, shops and riverside walks for an easy day out. It also has a thriving foodie scene, from cosy pubs to Mediterranean eateries. Swap countryside for coast and drive to Lyme Regis, Seaton and Charmouth Beach (7 miles) for fossil hunting and coastal path rambles.

From Easter to October, at the sister complex, Andrewhayes, ( 1.5 miles by car ) is an on-site shared heated swimming pool, which includes a games room, bar and shop. There is private parking for one car at the cottage.
