About this cottage rental
A welcoming apartment set on the ground floor of an impressive building in Beaumaris, this Isle of Anglesey bolthole enjoys the most picturesque views. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom retreat overlooks the Menai Strait towards mainland Wales and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Enjoy it as a base from which to get out and about on this beautiful island. Bring your hiking boots and follow a choice of scenic trails, including the Anglesey Coastal Path. Potter about in Beaumaris itself, shopping for local produce and taking time out to see the famously unfinished fortress. Take a boat trip out to see if you can spot dolphins, porpoises, or seals. Make a trip over the bridge to Conwy (22.5 miles), with its impressive castle. Explore the island’s magical beaches; venture 8 miles to Traeth Coch, also known as Red Wharf Bay, with its beautiful sands.
Enter the building’s shared entrance and find your private retreat at ground-floor level. Step inside, kick off your shoes and hang coats in the hallway, then move through to the social heart of the home – the open-plan living space. This retro-meets-chic room combines a restful lounge with a stylish kitchen and dining area, offering the perfect base to unwind between your adventures. In the lounge, a picture window frames magical views, while soft seating is set around a Smart TV and a pebble-effect electric fire. When stomachs rumble, find everything needed in the kitchen for cooking up those holiday feasts, which you can enjoy at the diner-style table or alfresco out in your private courtyard garden. When it’s time to call it a night, retire to one of the two lovely bedrooms: a super-king-size room with an en-suite shower room and far-reaching views, and a twin bedroom benefiting from an en-suite bathroom.
Spill outside to the front of the building and make full use of the private courtyard garden. Here, enjoy peaceful morning coffees or grill local produce over the BBQ. You’re also welcome to unwind in the shared garden, which features sun loungers. With private parking for one car, your arrival and day trips are made easy.
