Only 50 minutes drive from the Peak District National Park, other popular destinations in the area include the cathedral city of Lincoln or bustling Nottingham (both within 24 miles). Closer to home, much-loved local attractions include Sherwood Forest and the Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Robin Hood’s Wheelgate Park, National Holocaust Centre, Newark Air Museum, many National Trust sites and Doddington Hall and Gardens (all within 16 miles).
