About this cottage rental
NEW to our portfolio. Situated on a picturesque farm in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, this charming lodge welcomes four guests where you can enjoy views of the fishing lake from your own private veranda. You will find the charming village of Rumbugh 2 miles away which has a lovely country pub, while the market town of Halesworth (4.5 miles) has a wider range of amenities and eateries. Visit Beccles (9 miles) where you can hire a paddleboard or boat along the river, or head to the seaside town of Southwold (13 miles) which is steeped in maritime history and has an award-winning beach. Further afield is the remarkable Norfolk Broads (20 miles) which has more than 180 miles worth of waterways to explore.
This lovely rural hideaway is set over one floor and has open-plan living at its heart. Step inside and find a lounge/kitchen/diner set beneath a vaulted ceiling. This cosy and welcoming space provides a homely spot to enjoy relaxing evenings watching TV on the sumptuous sofas, or eating together at the dining table while admiring the views out of the patio doors. The practical kitchen is well-equipped, and a handy utility room is provided. As the day draws to a close, head through to the bedrooms. The sumptuous double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom which contains a shower over the bath, and a WC, while the twin bedroom has its own en-suite shower room.
Outside via the patio doors is a veranda, which has outdoor seating and a BBQ available on request, perfect for an al fresco meal. Beyond this are two private fishing lakes and walking routes.
