Kick off your day with a trip to Crich Tramway Village (0.5 miles), where you can wander through recreated historic streets and ride vintage trams. Alternatively, grab your hiking boots and climb up Crich Stand (1 mile), where you’ll be rewarded with amazing views of a memorial tower and out across the Peak District. Alternatively, cycle along the High Peak Trail (3.5 miles), where the historic Cromford and High Peak Railway line has been transformed into a level, traffic-free path with open countryside views and preserved railway features.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a bright and inviting space that exudes rustic charm. Make your way to the lounge and take a moment to appreciate the bright and cheerful decor and welcoming wood burner – the perfect retreat for romantic couples. When it’s time to eat, head to the chic, compact kitchen to whip up some dinner to share at the stylish breakfast bar – the ideal spot for an intimate dinner for two. Afterwards, treat yourself to a glass of wine and settle on the sofa by the wood burner to watch your favourite rom-com together. At the end of the day, head upstairs and you’ll find a beautiful king-size bedroom with a glamorous bathroom with a free-standing bath and shower.

Step just across the road down into the shared garden with patio terrace which is a great place to savour a leisurely al fresco dinner. Parking is available on the road outside the cottage.
