About this cottage rental
This stylish two-bedroom home is ideally situated in the peaceful village of Dersingham, yet the opulent Sandringham Estate sits within walking distance, alongside two pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Enjoy your 1-mile stroll to the much-loved retreat of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, where grand acres of house and gardens await curious eyes. Follow the paths through the woodland here or tuck into afternoon tea in the restaurant. Discover many species of birds at RSPB Snettisham (5 miles) and RSPB Titchwell (13 miles), or stand on the Hunstanton cliffs (8 miles) to maybe spot red knots or the bar-tailed godwit. Spend hours on the sand at Heacham South Beach (6 miles) or Snettisham Beach (5.5 miles) before tucking into a fine dining restaurant serving locally sourced produce.
Upon arrival at this elegant home, find a place to store your waterproof coat and walking shoes. To the left, you’re greeted by the home's social heart: the lounge. This warm, inviting snug features calming decor, with soft colours and two pillowy sofas surrounding the TV. Enter through the dining room on the next left, and into the kitchen, where bi-folding doors to the garden and a skylight provide plenty of light while you're whipping up a storm. Its stylish units and handy appliances make this room a joy to cook in. Back in the dining room, a circular four-person table is a tranquil spot for lunch or board games. Finishing off this floor is the utility room just off the dining room. At the end of each day, go up to the first floor and retire to either the super-king-size with the TV or the double bedroom. Both are equally stylish, with wrought-iron bed frames and soul-soothing palettes. This floor is completed with a contemporary bathroom with bath, shower and WC.
Enter the enclosed garden through the bi-folding doors in the kitchen, where a pleasant bistro table and BBQ offer the ideal place for morning coffees or outdoor dining. There is also a lawn for children to play on and private parking for three cars.
