Situated between Cromer (13 miles) and Great Yarmouth (21 miles), Walcott serves as the perfect destination for a getaway. The main road runs alongside the shoreline, making day trips convenient and offering stunning ocean views. Walkers and nature lovers will enjoy the picturesque Norfolk Coast Path, which passes through the village – follow it to reach the iconic Happisburgh Lighthouse (1.5 miles). Less than a mile away, Walcott’s golden beach beckons with its soft sands, calm waters, and an array of waterside cafes, shops, and ice cream stands. History enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby National Trust treasures, such as Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall (both within 15 miles), while the renowned Norfolk Broads begin just 3.5 miles away.
