A perfect base for exploring North Yorkshire, this delightful property is set in a beautiful location close to both the glorious Yorkshire Dales (12.5 miles to the west) and the heather-covered North York Moors (18 miles to the east). There are some delightful market towns and villages nearby including Leyburn, Moulton and Middleton Tyas (all within 10 miles). This is a wonderful base for enjoying some breathtaking walks, with destinations in the Dales including Reeth (15.5 miles), Hawes (26 miles) and Castle Bolton (16 miles). Heading south you can explore the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (9. miles). Other places of interest include Barnard Castle (21 miles), Fountains Abbey (22 miles), Richmond (9 miles) and Ripon (18.5 miles).
Entering this delightful stone barn conversion, you will find a spacious and welcoming lounge which is a beautiful space to relax in, with exposed stone walls, a stone fireplace with an open fire, comfortable seating TV and DVD. There's also a choice of books and board games provided. Heading into the light and attractive kitchen/diner you will find it fully equipped with a charming dining area, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Exploring the ground floor further you will find the first of three bedrooms. This generous room features a fabulous king-size four-poster bed with a wet room set into the corner of the room. Moving upstairs, you will find two further bedrooms. One bedroom features a king-size bed with exposed beams above, and there's also a stunning double room with a four-poster bed and exposed stone walls. There is also a wet-room-style bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC.
Outside, you will find a charming enclosed courtyard with outdoor furniture, fairy lights, a BBQ and a private hot tub. To the front of the property, there's a large shared courtyard where you can sit back and relax. You are also welcome to walk around the estate and spot the local wildlife.
