When days come to a close, the TV and free WiFi will be more than ready to assist in sharing memories on social media or streaming favorite movies. Mara Laguna is a resort community tucked between a lagoon and the Caribbean Sea on Ambergris Caye. Situated about a mile north of central San Pedro, it is very easily accessible. Fly into San Pedro Airport and take a one-and-a-half-mile drive north on Laguna Drive to reach the resort, or fly into Belize City 36 miles southwest and get on a water taxi or motorboat ferry to access Ambergris Caye - a trip that usually takes about 75 minutes. Close by you can visit the beautiful Boca del Rio Park, good for swimming and fishing.
