Beautifully appointed, great location, superb communication with hosts. Parking a bit of a challenge but host provided good details on options. We forgot some items and Lada was very kind in helping to arrange a time and location to retrieve them. Very generous in her willingness to help solve a problem we had inadvertently created.

Everything was clean and comfortable. We were in the midst of a 2-week trip and needed laundry facilities. So helpful to have that in the apartment. Americans used to a big machine should temper their expectations!

If you’re happy with the photos you see for this listing you’ll be even more pleased in person. The location is ideal for exploring the harbor and all split has to offer in the Port area. The bathrooms are lovely with plenty of hot water. The towering ceilings and beautiful interior stone walls with lovely windows makes this listing stand out. It is clean and a perfect location for your adventure in Split, Croatia. I would definitely rent it again.

The apartment worked for us but we probably wouldn't stay there again. When we arrived and were able to check in, Lada (a very nice woman) met us at the apartment to give us the keys. The listing doesn't indicate this, but building has numerous other permanent residents and we were disappointed to see dog poop in the front courtyard and various large laundry lines. The listing also indicates there is parking access but it was impossible to find street parking anywhere remotely close to the apartment. We had to park many blocks away whenever we used the car, so having a car is not a good idea. Without a car, no problem. More importantly, the "unit" actually consists of two separate apartments. The kitchen and main living room and one bedroom are separate (with its own locking door from the outer hallway) from the other bedroom and bathroom, so one couple did not have access to the kitchen and living area without having to knock on the door and disturb the other couple to open the door to let us in to the main apartment area. There was little extra toilet paper and the rug in the bedroom was quite dirty. Excellent shower and bathroom facilities. Beds were comfortable. Lada was a very friendly but spent little time explaining how things in the apartment (washing machine, dish washer, AC controls, etc) worked. She basically gave us the keys, asked if we had any questions, and left the rest up to us. There is no clothes dryer. The door knob on the second apartment came loose when we initially closed the door. Overall, we were not impressed with the apartment(s) however the location is quite excellent as it is literally steps to the Old Town area. In addition, Marko, the owner, was very responsive and friendly in setting up the booking.
