Guest Access:

The Neighborhood:
This part of South Kihei is made for an easy, beach-first routine. The Cove is a local favorite for beginner surf lessons and paddleboarding, while Kalama Park adds open lawn, volleyball, and a long oceanfront path for sunset walks. The Kamaole Beach Parks are nearby for swimming and snorkeling on calmer mornings. Restaurants, coffee shops, rental spots, and everyday groceries line South Kihei Road, so you can keep the car parked for much of the day. It is a lively, convenient pocket of Maui for families who like choices close by.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
