Reasons to book
About this cabin rental
This thoughtfully designed space sleeps up to 6, featuring a queen bed in the loft, bunk beds, and a pull-out couch. Enjoy the river from the large deck, or stroll down to your own private white sand beach or gravel bar, perfect for relaxing or fishing in the crystal-clear, spring-fed waters.
Enjoy all the comforts of home, while being fully immersed in the sights and sounds of the Ozarks.
The space
As you pull off the highway you will have to unlock a combination pad lock to open the gate to access the property.
The structure is within a flood plain, so you have to climb a flight of stairs to reach the large deck and enter the tiny house.
Once inside, a galley kitchen divides the living area from the bathroom and bunk beds. To access the queen bed in the loft, you have to pull down a “ship ladder”. The loft has room to sit up in bed for an average height person.
Other things to note
Please Note: Our tiny house is a simple, cozy cabin located on a peaceful river in rural Missouri. It’s a comfortable getaway with a clean and welcoming atmosphere—but it’s not the Ritz-Carlton. While we do our best to maintain a tidy, relaxing space, a touch of rustic charm comes with the setting. If you’re looking for a quiet, down-to-earth retreat close to nature, you’ll feel right at home here.
The property is in a flood plain. Although extremely rare, if a major flood which could put you or your vehicle in danger during your stay, the booking may be canceled with little notice. Further, if a major flood causes damage or obstructs access to the rental, the booking may be canceled. Any cancelation will receive a refund for the days the property was unable to be used.
I have several kayaks, a 2 kayak hitch receiver, and a utility trailer that can be rented.
The property is 20 miles from the gate of Fort Leonard Wood.
